Position Summary Our software engineering team is looking for an experienced back-end engineer to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy team. Our engineers are serious about the success of the company and are given the tools and environment they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities

Work with customers, technical architects, program managers, and consultants to define the architecture and requirements for micro-services that power customer-centric business applications;
Lead the design and development of micro-service implementation to fulfill customer needs;
Develop strategies with other engineering teams to optimize and scale business application delivery;
Develop methods and tools to monitor the performance and reliability of customer business applications.
Job Requirements

5+ years of back-end service development experience in Java and Spring;
Knowledge of and experience with RESTful API patterns and practices;
Experience using various database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.;
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies;
Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of the organization;
Working knowledge of development tools and processes, such as source control, requirement spec, design, debugging, unit test, etc.
Nice to Have

Experience dealing with very large datasets;
Experience with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies;
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent professional development experience.
