About us:Since 1962, Southern Industrial has helped install and maintain the manufacturing and industrial base that has fueled growth across the Southeast.We have grown from a Carolinas-based crane and rigging company into the leading provider of turn-key industrial construction and plant maintenance services in the Southeast.As part of EMCOR Group, Southern Industrial's ability to serve our customers is enhanced by EMCOR's financial strength and national presence.Southern Industrial is seeking a Crane Operator with current NCCCO TLL certification to work out of our Raleigh, NC office on a project in Holly Springs, NC operating a 75T-165T Rough Terrain Crane.The primary function of this position is to independently perform lifts and picks utilizing the following types of cranes but not limited toLink-belt, Grove, Liebherr, All terrain and hydraulic truck cranes.ESSENTIAL DUTIESComplete JSA's and lift plans.Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.Perform all necessary safety checks on the equipment per procedures & policy.Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks.Operate cranes in a safe manner.Operate 190 tonMay operate Hydraulic and All Terrain Cranes.Maintain logbook, ELD's and comply with Hours of Service and all other DOT requirements for CDL drivers.Collaborate with Riggers and Truck Drivers to hoist materials and or loads through Radio or visual signals and other communication.Regular attendance is required.Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTSClass B CDL is a minimum, Class A CDL preferred.NCCCO Certification TLL and TSS (Service Trucks).Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience operating cranes.Clean driving record.Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.Minimal overnight travel may be required.We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledNotice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
