Oliver James has been partnered exclusively with a digital Insurtech specialized in the Real Estate and Habitational market.
The role:
At this time, they are looking to engage with Senior Underwriters. The successful Senior Underwriter will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the client's presence as they continue to expand. This is a FULLY REMOTE position with some travel as deemed necessary (less than 10%).
As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for:
Quoting and releasing new and renewal business
Analyzing and approving requested policy changes
Building and maintaining relationships with external partners to support marketing functions and efforts to build and promote the business
Completing special projects and assignments
The Senior Underwriter should have the following skills:
5+ years of Underwriting/Insurance experience
Small Commercial or Property Experience is needed, habitational experience is a PLUS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
