What Will You Do: 

  • Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans. 

  • Assist Sales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customers. 

  • Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and new accounts. 

  • Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to other District Sales Representatives. 

  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required. 

  • Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels. 

  • Support services include sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activities.   

  • Actively support innovations and technology in the strategic district accounts where you provide your support to District Sales Representatives. 

Territory/Location Information:  

  • This position is based in Bellingham, WA 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED 

  • 2-3 years industry experience.  

  • Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record 

  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.  

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.  

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions.  

  • Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting 50 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talk and hear.  

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree or trade school certification 

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. 

  • Basic problem-solving skills 

  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience  

  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems  

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$30.00/hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
