Location: Ada, OK Ada offers a welcoming small-town atmosphere in southern Oklahoma with a rich cultural heritage and strong community spirit. The area provides excellent quality of life with beautiful outdoor recreational opportunities and is conveniently located just 90 minutes southeast of Oklahoma City. Facility: This well-established hospital is a comprehensive healthcare facility serving the Ada community and surrounding areas. The facility features 3 LDRP rooms, 8 post-partum rooms, 2 C-section suites, 4 operating rooms per day, with full 24/7 anesthesia coverage, fellowship-trained ED physicians, and in-house hospitalists to ensure excellent patient care. Opportunity: Board Certification Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: • ED call coverage for OB/GYN services - one 24-hour call per week • No clinic responsibilities • Facility averages 30 deliveries per month • 25,000 ED visits annually • Level 3 trauma center • Must be licensed in Oklahoma or have IMLC • BLS certification required • Skills preferred include management of low and high-risk pregnancies • Preferred experience with FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) • Preferred skills in OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I/II) • Preferred experience with amniocentesis • Preferred skills in routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, c-section, breech, multiple births) • Preferred experience with VBACs and management of abruptions • Preferred skills in repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations • Preferred experience with office/minor gynecology procedures • Preferred skills in surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic procedures) • Local provider would be preferred • Currently only March 2026 shifts available, with opportunity to pick up more shifts later • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Daily flat 24-hour on-call rate included.
