Description

The Parts Kitter must act according to Leedo's core values: procedures which place controls in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Our goal is making our customers successful, taking care of our team, pursuing excellence, and maximizing profitability. The Parts Kitter is responsible for loading parts onto the assembly carts by sequence or batch, so to keep the assembly process flowing smoothly.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Responsible for loading parts associated with the Assembly Tickets.
  • Responsible for accommodating parts for next work order.
  • Partner with peers and management on any issues regarding assembly tickets, quality, safety and any other opportunities.
  • Responsible for leading by example in regards to PPE requirements, and to "Drive" compliance in all areas.
  • Perform and maintain good housekeeping practices along with the 5S standards.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Dept. Supervisor or Lead person.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must have basic ability for reading and writing, perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
  • Must be able to identify various colors.
  • Previous experience with basic computer skills but will train.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing hourly goals and problem solving.
  • Detail oriented and dependability is a requirement.
Education and/or Experience
  • 1-2 years' experience.
  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of education.
  • Experienced within manufacturing helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
  • Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A 10/12 HOUR SHIFT 5/6 DAYS A WEEK.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A NON CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 60LBS ON A REPETATIVE BASIS
