Heat Exchanger Fabrication Shop Receiving Clerk Join our dynamic team as a Receiving Clerk in our heat exchanger fabrication shop, where precision and organization are key to our success. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to manage the receipt, verification, and organization of materials, ensuring smooth operations and timely production. If you are committed to accuracy and safety, we invite you to contribute your skills to our growing company. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and unload materials arriving at the shop - Check in materials and verify measurements against purchase orders and specifications - Use tape measures and other tools to ensure accurate measurement and quality control - Organize and store materials efficiently to facilitate easy access and inventory management - Operate a forklift to move and position materials within the shop - Maintain accurate records of received materials and update inventory systems - Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material flow Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in material receiving, check-in, and organization - Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measurement tools - Valid forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely - Knowledge of inventory management systems; familiarity with Job Boss software is a plus - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment - Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team We foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment that values growth and development.
