Insight Global is looking for a sharp, Senior Accountant to join a publicly held transportation and logistics company in Green Bay, WI. This experienced accountant will support various accounting functions which include directing month end close processes, preparing internal reporting and financial statements, and leading the fixed asset accounting function. Additionally, this person will need to have technical accounting skills in order to come in and improve the overall efficiency and accuracy of the team's processes. This individual will join a team of five other team members focused on SEC reporting. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to jump in, ramp up quickly and impact the overall success of this group.

- CPA certification

- Transportation industry experience
- Minimum three years of experience within an accounting team at a publicly traded company

- Experience with technical accounting activities such as:

*Analyzing current reporting strategies to ensure they're compliant with financial reporting guidelines

*Monitoring month end revenue accruals and reserves to identify and adjust any errors

*Implementing new policies or process improvements

*Presenting on interpretations of financial reports to organization leaders

*Conducting research on relevant accounting issues

- Bachelor's degree

- Strong experience with SEC reporting

- Understanding of GAAP principles

- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
