About the Position

The Hedge Fund is seeking an exceptional candidate to join us as a Compliance Analyst to assist our growing hedge fund organization. This person will be responsible for working directly with our Principals, our COO/CCO and the rest of our business operations team assisting in all facets of firm compliance. In addition to a background in compliance, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar position for another investment firm. The position is located in Quincy, MA, south of Boston.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Assist COO/CCO with all RIA and Fund compliance requirements and activities

Monitor and Support Code of Conduct and personal trading requirements for firm and its employees

Work with the COO/CCO to review all firm communications with investors and prospects including the company website. Monitor compliance with new SEC Marketing rules

Assist with all regulatory filings for our Funds and RIA entities

Primary responsibility for all firm documentation for relationships with counterparties, brokerdealers and prime brokers.

In charge of all firm proxy voting activities

Work with Investment Team in monitoring and shadowing research meetings

Skills & Experience Required

At least 3-5 years work experience at a hedge fund or other asset management firm

BA/BS degree or equivalent minimum.

Experience in investment management industry compliance.

Knowledge of Hedge Funds or Private Investment Funds is required

The candidate must possess strong written and oral communications skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Compliance Management Systems are preferred

The candidate must be accurate and detail oriented

The candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills

The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines and work well with others, contributing to a small team and on an individual level
