PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Sr. Quality Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Louisville, KY. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity  on the 1st shift Monday - Thursday and every other Friday 7 am to 3 pm paying up to $48 per hour. 

Job Description:

Senior Quality Engineer position will be inspecting product, researching and completing certification documentation for inspected product.

This position will work in a team environment reviewing, inspecting and putting together certification packets of product to present to government inspectors.

Requirements:

4+ years working in a high paced manufacturing environment in the quality field.

Prefer 4 year engineering degree, however years of experience can substitute for degree requirement.

Excellent computer and MS Excel skills.

Experience with GD&T

Basic blueprint reading experience.

Experience in corrective actions (5-Why, 8-D, A3, and Fishbone diagrams).

Experience reviewing product certifications.

Experience with product inspection and evaluation.

Experience with creating and processing reports.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
