Our client a Bank is looking to hire a Business Banker
Full Time - Direct Hire
Location: Monticello, MN
Position Description
Our client, a bank, is seeking a talented Business Banker who thrives on providing exceptional customer service, enjoys working in a collaborative environment with diverse responsibilities, is self-motivated and takes initiative problem solving. This self-directed position includes partnering with Loan Officers to assist with new and existing banking relationships and provide administrative support to internal and external constituents. Responsibilities will cross a diverse range of functional areas based on organizational and customer needs including loan administration, deposit, and cash management products. The Business Banker will be a liaison between Loan Officers and banking customers and act as backup contact for Loan Officers when needed. Our goal is for everyone who contacts the Bank LPO/DPO to become a raving fan based on prompt, proactive service. This position will in office in Monticello and work closely with our on-site business bankers.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Exhibit knowledge of banking regulations, procedures, and operations
Demonstrate knowledge of lending, commercial loans, and loan regulations
Ability to maintain confidentiality with customer information
Required Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial banking and/or related capacity in areas such as:
Business deposit account services / Treasury management
Deposit account opening
Loan administration (preferred, will train)
General knowledge in credit administration (preferred, will train)
General knowledge in business credit analysis (preferred, will train)
Knowledge in consumer lending
General office administrative responsibilities
Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite - Word and Excel. Familiarity with Navigator operating system a plus but not required and the ability to become proficient in other Bank software programs.
Self-motivated to organize, prioritize and produce excellent work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills. Associate or college degree preferred
This is an in-office position and working hours will be from 8:30am to 5pm, M-F.
