Job Title: Process Controls Engineer

Job Description

Monitor processing facilities to ensure smooth operation. Develop new methods to enhance the efficiency of each processing facility and plan improvement projects for each site.
Essential Functions/Duties

Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems.
Designing and testing automation equipment and processes
Programming new automated components.
Identifying quality issues and writing reports.
Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development.
Collaborating with other business units.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar field.
3+ years experience in engineering role
Previous experience working with CAD and AutoCAD
Previous experience working with RSLogix or similar programming environment
Previous experience working with SCADA software
Qualifications/Skills
Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment.
Experience with robotics and machine learning.
Experience with project management.
Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team.
Excellent manual dexterity.
Ability to keep up with the latest technologies.

This is a permanent position.
Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Corcoran, California.
Work Environment

Cotton, Oil, Processing plant. Supportive team culture and collaboration is encouraged to improve any of our processing facilities. You will have your own workspace for quiet time when needing to focus on projects.
