PRIMARY FUNCTION

Primary responsibility is to ensure customer needs are met by responding directly or partnering with other departments for assistance. The Customer Service Representative will process orders, facilitate customer communication, and provide information about Lincoln Electric products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the order process from entry to shipment
  • Partner with other locations when orders must be expedited
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities when order issues arise
  • Ensure proper compliance activities occur on international orders
  • Assist finance team when account information is requested
  • Process RMA and warranty claims; expedite RMA's not returned; assist non-conformance team with RMA log
  • Listen and respond to customers' needs and concerns in a professional manner
  • Understand and apply Lean manufacturing fundamentals
  • Perform general duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload requires
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent knowledge of PC's and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Experience with multiple phone line management
  • Experience working successfully in a team environment
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • SAP experience
