Overview of the Grant Writer Role:

As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for projects and initiatives by researching, preparing, and submitting grant proposals and applications. Collaborate with various departments and agencies, gathering information and developing compelling grant proposals aligned with the mission and objectives. This role includes designing success strategies for grant applications, managing the submission process, and ensuring coordination across stakeholders to meet application deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications for the Grant Writer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Political Science)
  • Minimum three years of grant writing experience
  • Experience with Workforce Development grants
