Here at Dobbies Garden Centres, we are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant Expert / Team Leader to join our team.
As a Restaurant your duties will involve providing effective support to the Restaurant Management team on a daily basis. You will work alongside the team ensuring the efficiency of the staff make sure all stations are covered effectively ensuring a high level of service is being offered to our customers by all staff. You will have practical and hands-on approach to work, coaching and training the team to deliver the best possible hospitality experience for our customers.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance and adherence to the Restaurant Operational procedures, monitoring standards and ensuring the team follow company guidelines i.e. portion control, stock control, with all statutory requirements e.g. health & safety; food hygiene, Cooksafe.
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will be passionate about food and keen to develop your skills and experiences, with proven capability as an effective team leader. Our restaurants deliver high volume in a compact environment and therefore require a hands-on, flexible approach to work. Previous experience in a retail catering role and holding a relevant food safety qualification would be an advantage.
