You're invited to join this company where your contributions fuel the momentumWe are a lean company who relies on workforce talent, and in return gives you the opportunity to engage in the growing 3rd party logistics service provider market-space differentiated by our contract manufacturing process disciplines, such as integrated robotics, vision-based error-proofing and advanced IT applications in digital material flow management.If you are energized by solving challenges, ranging from small operational details to big strategic challenges with industry changing implications, come join us.At Comprehensive Logistics Co., LLC (CLI), individuals are valued for their dedication to perfecting processes and teamwork performance.As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced MATERIALS TECHNICIAN who will be responsible for ensuring that material is shipped to the customer in a timely manner, ensuring shipping orders are not delinquent.Our 1st shift schedule is Monday - Thursday from 6:30am-5:00pm, with daily and weekend overtime as required.Manage inventory using a Min-Max method.Determine inbound windows to ensure a smooth flow of material.Maintain the layout for all material received and manage material flow using scanning technology to route and deliver Material.Manage returnable containers to suppliers.Manage engineering change process to ensure breakpoints are achieved.Participate and engage in continuous improvement activities.Communicate and interact with internal and external customers to resolve issues.Complete weekly layered audits.Monitor supplier non-conformance and issue PRRs accordingly.Monitor inbound loads for timelines and update materials records.Monitor and measure inventory via cycle counting and 4 wall inventory count.Work and communicate with customers and Material department to ensure the delivery of parts.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Warehouse experience (REQUIRED)Inventory experience (REQUIRED)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (REQUIRED)Great communications skills, both verbal and written (REQUIRED) Knowledge of SAP (HIGHLY PREFERRED)Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (HIGHLY PREFFERED)Lean manufacturing experience (HIGHLY PREFERRED)Comprehensive Logistics Co., LLC is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
