Provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) support services for the Program Executive Office (PEO) Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS)

  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help in troubleshooting issues
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Conduct peer review of test cases and provide feedback or make updates as needed
  • Attend various meetings and report on updates

Qualifications
  • Must have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or a similar role
  • Must have experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Must have the ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Should have working knowledge of test management software
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must have an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Should have strong organizational skills
  • Have a positive and can-do attitude
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers
  • Must have versatility and cross-train in various software application functions, including training and analysis
  • Must be able to receive and maintain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to be client facing and give updates/report on current testing statuses.
  • Able to travel to facility in Chantily, VA for testing
  • Have familiarity with HL7 Interface/Integration engines (Orion Rhapsody highly desired)
  • Have familiarity with HL7, JSON, and XML messages
  • Experience with deliverable development (e.g. Test Strategy, Test Plan, Executive Summary, Test Reports)
