Remote option is available for of state candidates.The Compliance Manager assists in developing and maintaining an effective compliance program that is designed to identify, assess, avoid and resolve violations of healthcare regulatory requirements, company policies and other enterprise risks; communicates to executive management, and staff; assists with development of compliant and ethical principles and policies; helps develop and implement educational programs addressing compliance and the company code of conduct; assists with administration of a retaliation-free internal reporting process, including an anonymous hotline reporting system; and collaborates with all departments and executive management to effectively incorporate the compliance program within system operations and programs.Essential Job Duties: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:Implement, manage, and monitor a compliance program for clinic and administration sites in Riverside, Ventura, and San Diego counties.Assists with establishing and maintaining a compliance program that is designed to prevent, detect, and mitigate violations of law, regulations, organization policies, and the code of conduct, while effectively managing company resources.Regularly reviews the compliance program and recommends appropriate revisions to executive management to address the potential risk areas.Works with leaders across all departments and supports the organization in prioritizing areas of focus for minimized risk.Assists with maintaining programs, policies, and practices to ensure that the organization complies with Joint Commission and other applicable accreditation standards.Coordinates with other corporate departments to regularly review federal, state, and local regulations.Acts as a liaison to government agencies and coordinates site visits for regulators.Investigates (or supervises the investigation of) potential compliance violations and takes corrective action as necessary.Collaborates with all company departments in implementing the compliance program.Coordinates as appropriate with outside legal counsel and/or vendors regarding compliance issues.Addresses all issues referred to by the compliance officer in a timely manner.Compliance ResponsibilitiesCorporate compliance committee facilitator.New acquisition integration on compliance related matters.COVID compliance in all counties.Compliance programs and policies.Compliance department budget and expenses.Staff and provider compliance training.Compliance TasksAdminister or supervise all compliance audits, including internal and external audits.Monitor compliance email and anonymous reporting hotline.Report on compliance analytics, including trends and patterns.Develop regular written reports on the compliance program for the Board and Senior Leadership.Develop analysis, reports, dashboards, graphs, and charts as required.Review and update the company compliance work plan annually.Required education and experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university required.Compliance Certifications (CHC or CHPC or similar certifications) preferred.Minimum Experience Required:Experience in healthcare compliance 5+ yearsMinimum Knowledge and Skills Required:Experience in researching and maintaining basic knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including regulations that are specific to California healthcare providers.Experience in supervising management and staff in multiple locations who are not direct reports but matrixed preferred.Organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.Critical thinking and analytical skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.#J-18808-Ljbffr
