In this role, theOB/GYN Laborist will be responsible for managing the Labor & Delivery process. About the Schedule: Schedule: 7-on, 7-off shifts Hours: 12-hour shifts Responsibilities: The OB/GYN Laborist will: Monitor the progress of labor, assess the well-being of both the mother and the baby, and make decisions regarding the need for interventions Assess pregnant women who arrive at the hospital with various concerns Provide emergency care to pregnant women who experience complications or unexpected events during labor and delivery Consult with and provide care to pregnant women who are being managed by the hospital's primary OBGYNs or midwives Assist with and perform cesarean sections (C-sections) when necessary Provide postpartum care, including assessing the mother's recovery and addressing any postpartum complications. Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey Board Eligible / Certified Your privacy is important to us.
