Position Overview: As a Recruiter at Johnson Block & Company, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting exceptional professionals to join our team. You will work closely with our HR department and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and execute the entire recruitment lifecycle. Your goal will be to ensure that we have a talented and diverse team of professionals who can contribute to our firm's continued success.

This position can work out of any of our Wisconsin locations (Middleton, WI - Mineral Point, WI - La Crosse, WI - Viroqua, WI)

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events, to identify potential candidates. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit. Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Candidate Assessment And Selection

Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural alignment with the firm. Provide recommendations to hiring managers on candidate selection. Conduct reference checks and background verifications as needed.

Recruitment Strategy

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top accounting and finance professionals. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to ensure a competitive advantage in talent acquisition. Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with college campuses, career services, and actively participate in representing the firm at job fairs to engage with promising talent early in their career journeys, fostering a robust pipeline of future professionals.

Candidate Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged throughout the recruitment process. Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates.

Onboarding Support

Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Reporting And Compliance

Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including candidate tracking. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
