Description of the role:

Great Lakes KIA, an automotive dealership based in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an Automotive Cashier to join our team. As an Automotive Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all financial transactions related to sales, service, and parts departments. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments and maintain proper documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • Process customer payments for sales, service, and parts transactions
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and transaction details
  • Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments
  • Issue receipts to customers
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cashier or financial handling experience recommended but not required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate must be available to work the outlined schedule: Monday-Thursday 10AM-6PM. Friday 9:30AM-5:30PM. Every other Saturday 8AM-4:30PM. (A day off during the week when scheduled for the rotating Saturday).
