Job DescriptionPosition Title: Pharmacologist/Toxicologist LeadLocation: Princeton, New Jersey (Remote)Overview:We are seeking a Pharmacologist/Toxicologist Lead with a strong scientific background to join our team, based remotely in Princeton, NJ. This role plays a crucial part in applying scientific methodologies to overcome challenges in pharmacology and toxicology, leading developmental programs, conducting risk assessments, and representing the company in meetings with global health authorities.Key Responsibilities:Apply scientific methods and propose solutions to challenges in pharmacology and toxicology, based on interpretation of past results, studies, or external information. Provide scientific input to other departments.Act as the Global Pharmacology and Toxicology Lead for developmental programs, assisting in their design, completion, and defense.Lead the preparation of regulatory study documents, technical scientific analyses, and positional papers.Perform and review toxicological risk assessments for various health-based exposure limits (HBELs).Assist in selecting and approving contract testing facilities for nonclinical studies, ensuring timely initiation, progression, and completion of studies with quality data.Review and comprehend relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Represent the department and company in meetings with global regulatory health authorities and internal meetings.RequirementsCandidates should have a doctoral degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related fieldKnowledge of the biological impact of drug product materials and world health authorities' regulations, standards, and guidelines is essential.Familiarity with GLP and ISO regulations is required.Ability to interpret complex research documents, write scientific reports, communicate abstract concepts, and present to high-level audiences.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply technical mathematical concepts and perform complex computations.The role requires the ability to solve complex problems with non-standardized solutions, requiring independent judgment and analysis.
