Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Job Title: RN - Intensive Care Unit Providence Seaside Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Job Summary: This is a 0.9 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination. Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current Oregon Registered Nurse License. Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification. 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in critical care. Why Join Providence?
