Examples of Duties

Under general supervision, supervises and participates in coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, fulfilling supply requests from health centers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Assists in the receipt, storage, and delivery of supplies and equipment.
Prepares materials and supplies for distribution to health centers.
Maintains inventory accounting - records of supplies received and issued.
Initiates purchases of supplies under various schedules.
Independently operates a storeroom.
Processes and forwards invoices and documentation to the Office of Budget and Finance for payment.
Codifies all items according to various inventory systems.
Examples of Other Duties
Assumes the duties of the supervisor in his/her absence.
Operates a manual forklift when required
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent

PLUS

Four years' storekeeping or warehousing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Licenses and Certificates
Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a non-commercial, class C Maryland driver's license is required at the time of appointment.

Character Requirements
Some positions may require applicants to undergo a comprehensive background investigation, polygraph examination, and drug test.

Examination Procedure

Conditions of Employment
