Overview:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Service Manager or Service Director to fill an immediate opening. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in Automotive Service Management, although a background in a High-Volume Dealership is a plus but not mandatory. Our top priority is ensuring customer satisfaction, which we achieve through retaining skilled technicians. To qualify for this position, you must possess excellent communication and team-building skills, and a proven track record of success in hitting or exceeding profitability goals. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, building a loyal client base, driving new business, controlling costs, developing and maintaining an excellent team setting and achieving sales and profit objectives and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction scores.

Responsibilities:

Service Manager:

  • Maintain the Highest level of Customer Satisfaction
  • Hire, train, engage, motivate, and manage the careers of all service department staff.
  • Direct and schedule the career activities of all team members.
  • monitor payroll and effective labor rate.
  • Forecast revenue goals and set objectives for the department.
  • Organize workflow to deliver quality work efficiently and timely.
  • Cross collaboration with other internal departments and across the organization
  • Understand and comply with all current federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about needed automotive maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle and resolve client concerns.


Qualifications:
  • 5-years of Dealership Manager Experience (OEM) is a Big Consideration, But Not Required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication, supervisory, and managerial skills
  • Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.
  • Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
