: Provide technical engineering design, consultation, cost analysis, information, and assistance to internal and external customers under direct supervision to ensure that projects comply with all Baker Electric engineering standards. Utilize standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, utilizing judgement in making adaptations and modifications while

contributing to 3D coordination and drawings for educational, functional, commercial, and industrial projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Good time management, communication and people skills. Review, analyze, comment, and process system and equipment submittals. Collaborate with Baker’s staff and leadership to support their agenda including budgetary issues. Assist in project startup by verifying electrical drawings for completeness and accuracy. Resolve discrepancies with specifications, drawings, and designs. Coordinate between all disciplines contract drawings including architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other trades. Perform short circuit and over current protection coordination studies. Review, analyze, comment, design, enhance power systems that include feeder, branch wire grounding, and over current protection sizing, along with equipment evaluations. Design, value engineer, and specify, power, lighting, and other systems. Review technical specifications and plans, contract documents, and estimates under the supervision of other Baker employees. Prepare deliverable packages through all phases of the project. Collaborate and Coordinate design-changes that have cost impacts, changes of scope, and assist with drawing change management. Assist the VDC Project teams with 3D models for Virtual Mockups, presentation and visualization use during project pursuits and preconstruction to aid in the identification of constructability and logistical challenges. Express a strong desire to lead the creation and implementation of project planning procedures per Baker Electric’s standard planning process, including timelines for Project Managers and Managers. Learn technical tasks in Revit and AutoCad software. QA/QC of internal project documentation, shop drawings and specifications. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay flexible while meeting deadlines and goals while staying positive. Must have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, innovative, and fast-paced setting. The responsibilities and duties are intended to only describe the general scope of work being performed by this position. Other duties will be assigned to this position based on the role within the business unit. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION

: Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, etc.) 1-3 years’ relevant experience Detailed understanding of all facets of construction blueprints (architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and special systems) Working knowledge of codes and energy efficiency requirements. Familiarity with electrical and construction concepts, practices, and procedures required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) Revit, Navis, CAD experience is a plus.
