Warehouse Associate

PeopleReady of Burlington, WA is now hiring Warehouse Associates A Warehouse Associate is responsible for the organization and storage of raw materials and finished goods in a safe manner. This role also requires understanding of the warehouse process involved, from the receipt of goods to the shipment to the customer and can track this process within our ERP system. This role also includes receiving products from delivery. This associate will be expected to travel and work out of both our Bellingham and Burlington facilities.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Associate:
  • Verify that the quantity and quality of goods received is consistent with the receiving slip; checks against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies.
  • Safe offload and storage of goods in the appropriate location.
  • Working knowledge of raw materials, warehouse, and production scheduling
  • Enter all goods received into the business system daily.
  • Maintain inventory controls and manage the periodic inventory count in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure delivery of packages to the appropriate owner.
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Deliver raw materials to the production floor from the warehouse as required.
  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with freight carriers and suppliers.
  • Organize and clean the shipping and receiving areas as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Current forklift certification. Strong forklift skills including driving vehicles indoors and outdoors
  • Experience within the warehousing industry
  • Flexibility in work hours/schedule
  • ERP knowledge
  • Background check and drug screening required
