Description

Position Title: Customer Service Representative

Position Location: Ontario, California

New-Indy Recycling has an opening for a Customer Service Representative to schedule appointments, create purchase orders and data entry. Other responsibilities include:

What you'll Do
  • Schedule mill and plant appointments in Open Dock program
  • Request freight rates needed for prospective proposals
    • Schedule loads with carrier based on rate and/or level of service
  • Create Purchase Orders in the "Cietrade" system.
  • Schedule Domestic trucks as needed and redirect loads as necessary
  • Create Sales Orders in the "Cietrade" system
  • Create a Worksheet Number in Cietrade and/or SMS for each load
  • Follow up to ensure loads are being picked up as requested
  • Collect weight tickets after delivery and complete worksheets in Cietrade to ensure that each load is accounted for on the Gross Profit Report
  • Send copies of Certified Weight Tickets to Suppliers
  • Review reports for accuracy prior to being sent to supplier
  • Data entry and billing of domestic loads
    • Invoices are reviewed for accuracy prior to being submitted to accounting for payment
Qualifications
  • High School graduate
  • 2 years Customer Service experience
  • Manufacturing, Logistics, or Recycling experience a plus
  • English and Spanish speaking a plus

Pay Transparency: The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $22-$27 per hour. Other rewards may include quarterly bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance. New-Indy provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
