Description

Position Title: Customer Service Representative

Position Location: Ontario, California

New-Indy Recycling has an opening for a Customer Service Representative to schedule appointments, create purchase orders and data entry. Other responsibilities include:

What you'll Do
  • Schedule mill and plant appointments in Open Dock program
  • Request freight rates needed for prospective proposals
    • Schedule loads with carrier based on rate and/or level of service
  • Create Purchase Orders in the "Cietrade" system.
  • Schedule Domestic trucks as needed and redirect loads as necessary
  • Create Sales Orders in the "Cietrade" system
  • Create a Worksheet Number in Cietrade and/or SMS for each load
  • Follow up to ensure loads are being picked up as requested
  • Collect weight tickets after delivery and complete worksheets in Cietrade to ensure that each load is accounted for on the Gross Profit Report
  • Send copies of Certified Weight Tickets to Suppliers
  • Review reports for accuracy prior to being sent to supplier
  • Data entry and billing of domestic loads
    • Invoices are reviewed for accuracy prior to being submitted to accounting for payment
Qualifications
  • High School graduate
  • 2 years Customer Service experience
  • Manufacturing, Logistics, or Recycling experience a plus
  • English and Spanish speaking a plus

Pay Transparency: The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $22-$27 per hour. Other rewards may include quarterly bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance. New-Indy provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Please note the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position and assumes a rate based on location and experience.
