Collect and analyze financial data ensuring compliance with reporting guidelines. Perform general accounting activities including ledger maintenance, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Record, analyze, and report accounting transactions with integrity and accuracy. Provide financial support through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports. Research accounting rules and regulations; make recommendations on company policy. May lead or direct others' work; coach team members as needed. Conduct and document accounting projects; handle special projects as assigned. Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Additional Responsibilities (as needed): Manage areas such as PIP administration, leases, fixed assets, cash concentration, rebate accounting, and general ledger management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred. Minimum four years’ experience in accounting or related area required. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with Lawson or GL accounting software preferred. Knowledge of GAAP, ERISA, and tax laws preferred. Competencies: Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, conflict management, influencing, and negotiation skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance team members. Ability to exercise judgment, make decisions, and influence company policies affecting financial performance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
