Overview:Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services | Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions | Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bidsMajor Position Responsibilities:Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.Basic Qualifications:To be successful in this role you must:Have an Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related degree Preferred Bachelor's degree2-4 years of experienceOr equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Organization | Communication| Attention to Detail | Contract Compliance | Contract Lifecycle Management | Contract Negotiation | Contract Management & Administration | Contract Review | Contract Management SoftwareBenefits:Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
