Job Description: As a Technical Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing our marketing and sales analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data models to understand various factors affecting business performance. This role involves cleaning and maintaining data pipelines, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing insightful Tableau dashboards. The ideal candidate is passionate about turning raw data into actionable insights and enjoys working with large, complex datasets. You will report to the Principal Data Scientist and collaborate closely with the marketing science team to drive data-driven decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity.
- Build and develop Tableau dashboards to visualize key metrics and insights.
- Conduct analysis to identify factors impacting business performance, including microeconomic trends.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet their data needs.
- Handle and manipulate large, complex datasets using SQL and Python.
- Create and maintain data flows to address and prevent data issues.
- Turn raw data into actionable insights to support marketing analytics.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data-driven strategies are implemented effectively.
Required Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Tableau.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- 2-3 years of experience with Python, specifically for data manipulation using libraries such as NumPy.
- Proven ability to work with messy and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in building data models.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in marketing analytics is preferred but not required.
Nice-to-Haves
- Interest in the marketing analytics industry.
- Experience with additional data visualization tools.
- Background in supporting marketing analytics in various industries.
- Skills in creating automated data flows and processes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
Pay & Benefits Summary
