Description

Faith Comes By Hearing has a full-time position open for a Donor Engagement Support Assistant. This role provides crucial support to the Donor Engagement Team for the purpose of helping the team in achieving their funding goals for the organization. This role involves analyzing data, identifying issues, problem-solving, and offering solutions to ensure the department's success. This position reports to our Albuquerque office.

Donor Engagement:
  1. Create and run daily donation reports and quarterly analysis department reports. Analyze and alert appropriate team members of any issues/ concerns or follow up.
  2. Process weekly wealth screen process for new donors who give $500+ single gift or new contacts. Occasional batch screening may be required following special events and conferences.
  3. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Net Suite and SalesForce databases to enter new contacts and donors, update account information and create reports.
  4. Collaborate with team members, gather support materials needed for various donor trips, conferences, special event, etc., and coordinate shipping, if necessary. Take initiative to problem solve and offer solutions.
  5. Create queries and run various lists/reports for various mailings, invitation lists, special projects, etc.
  6. Assist with event registration and coordination of donor events.
  7. Oversee and maintain inventory of development support materials, promotional devices and event materials.
  8. Research donors/prospects and general donor development information as requested by team members via Intelius.
  9. Process orders in Net Suite for requested items to be sent to donors/partners.
  10. Participate in department/event meetings and working groups, as necessary.
  11. Distribute welcome packets every Friday to all new donors.
  12. Distribute prayer letter, every 2 months, to donors and partners.
  13. Maintain department master calendar.
  14. Assist with donor reports and proposal mailings.
  15. Assist with hospitality needs for various meetings.
  16. Perform general administrative duties including written and verbal correspondence.
  17. Run errands as needed, which may include shopping for donor gifts when requested.
  18. Cover front desk and phones as requested.
Requirements

Required:
  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in administrative support work, preferably with a non-profit organization and in donor development.
  2. Strong organizational skills with ability to shift priorities and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Ability to support multiple team members, prioritize workload, multi-task while meeting deadlines, and problem-solve while offering solutions.
  4. Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential donor information using appropriate discretion when sharing information.
  5. Ability to work independently but also be a team player with a heart to serve.
  6. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications including. Word, Excel, Calendars, and Outlook.
  7. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system experience desirable.
  8. Good phone presence, interpersonal skills, and customer service emphasis.
  9. Good judgment, analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  10. Event assistance may require occasional evening and weekend work.
