Responsibilities:
  • Perform test, tune, and troubleshoot of mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies.
  • Conduct testing over temperature, during vibration, and mechanical shock.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art standard, specialized, manual, and automated test equipment.
  • Retrieve test procedures, assembly drawings, and schematics using computers.
  • Perform electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
  • Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products.
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies.
  • Familiarity with RF equipment: RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Analyzer, Oscilloscope, RF Power Meters, and Network Analyzers.
  • Ability to work under a microscope and use hand tools (torque drivers, tweezers, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills for retrieving drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience with computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment.
  • Soldering components in accordance with J-STD-001.
  • Data analysis of RF Microwave test data.
  • Writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics.
  • Familiarity with working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.
  • High School Diploma required (no bachelor's degree required).
