Systems Engineer- Huntsville

Annual Salary - $72,000 +

In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks Systems Engineers to support our rapidly growing engineering work for the Missile Defense Agency's Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) element of the Ballistic Defense System (BMD). We have openings for junior to mid-level individual contributors.

The work is performed at our customer site in Huntsville, Alabama.

Job Duties:

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree an Engineering field such as Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of related professional experience
  • Understanding of systems engineering 'V' and be capable of performing engineering analysis
  • Knowledge of C++, JAVA, or Ada
  • Development utilizing a Linux based development environment.
  • Demonstrated application of Systems design, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a current active DoD Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working on Missile Defense programs.
  • Prior experience working using DOORS.
  • Prior experience using Atlassian Tools
  • Familiar with Agile terminology and best practices Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo
  • Familiar with automated software requirements testing and analysis.
  • Familiar with Software Containerization and Orchestration
  • Familiar with DevSecOps and Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
