**Your Role:**

As the Functional Safety Manager - Propulsion, youll be working with some of the industrys brightest minds to accelerate the delivery of quality FF products to consumer markets. You will be responsible for propulsion system functional safety development with all commodities

* Generate propulsion system level features, functions from the vehicle level, complete boundary definition

* Leading domain function safety engineers to ensure system, hardware and software development are all following ISO26262

* Responsible for Hazard and Risk Assessment for propulsion system

* Serve as subject matter expert in functional safety according to ISO26262 to support entire vehicle

* Responsible for definition of the system level FSRs to drive hardware and software TSRs

* Engage with development engineering teams to drive the TSR creation, test case and test plans, ensure the requirement is clearly defined and ASIL metrics established

* Responsible for system integration validation and testing activities combining hardware and software

* Develop a propulsion system function safety development plan, and track the progress for leadership reviews

**Basic Qualifications:**

* BS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineer or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability

* 3 years of experience in functional safety work either in OEMs or Tier 1s

* Solid understanding in ISO26262

* Good communication and writing skills with both hardware engineering and software engineering

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability

* 5+ years of experience in functional safety work, especially in EV

* Received full ISO26262 training

* Had hands-on experience as hardware and software development in EV propulsion
