Director of Marketing

About the role
The Director of Marketing will spearhead the company's marketing strategy, overseeing all aspects of marketing, from digital campaigns to events and content creation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the tech industry, particularly AI and cloud computing, and the ability to execute marketing initiatives that drive engagement and generate leads. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tech marketing, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.
What you'll do
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes digital marketing, content creation, social media, events, and PR to build brand awareness and generate demand for comapny's services.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and support the sales process.
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that marketing initiatives are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.
Lead the creation of engaging, informative content that articulates the value proposition of comapny's cloud services and drives engagement across various channels.
Organize and participate in industry events and conferences to promote company's services and establish thought leadership in the AI and cloud computing space.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gaining insights to optimize future marketing strategies.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in digital marketing or analytics is a plus.
5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong preference for experience in the tech, AI, or cloud computing sectors.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform marketing decisions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring creativity and driving projects to completion.
Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM software, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
Knowledge of the AI and cloud computing market, including key players, trends, and customer needs.
