Pharmacy Technician Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) Pharmacy Technician for our Cass Street Pharmacy location in La Crosse. What you'll do: Work 0.8 FTE (64 hours/2 weeks) Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed What you'll get: Hourly wage: $18.63-$26.49 based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts Competitive benefits package, including our top-rated retirement plan Professional development: Education tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 per year, financial support for advanced training and certification programs, extensive internal courses and access to Gundersen's Career Development Center Diversity, equity and inclusion: Year-round educational events and the support of a dedicated DEI committee What you'll need: High school diploma or equivalency Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire Emplify Health is comprised of two of the Midwest's most respected healthcare systems, Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System.
