Sound like you?What You'll DoOverviewThe Regional Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing various areas of management within our region. This multifaceted role encompasses the management of federal programs, state programs, data reporting, regional and school-based compliance systems, school health, school safety, and child nutrition. Beyond these core functional areas of management, the Regional Operations Manager will also support and lead operations work more broadly at the regional level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, experience in project management, proficiency with technology, commitment to problem-solving, strong communication skills, a systems-oriented mindset, and the ability to lead and coordinate complex initiatives. This is exciting work because it will allow our schools to continue to sustain and grow in fulfill our mission to operate schools grounded in love achievement, and anti-racism.The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) will directly report to the Regional Director of Operations (RDOO) and will be a member of the regional operations team.Essential ResponsibilitiesRegional Project Management and Support: Actively support the realization of the operations team's vision in conjunction with the regional operations team, through adept project management and innovative system development. Function as a strategic thought partner and reliable teammate to the Regional Director of Operations (RDOO), particularly during pivotal moments. This role demands flexibility and adaptability, stepping up to address and resolve operational challenges as they arise, showcasing a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of our mission.Federal Programs Management: Lead the administration of federal programs, ensuring compliance with all federal requirements and regulations. This includes the management of Title I, Title II, and other federal programs to support educational outcomes.State Programs and Reporting Management: Oversee state programs and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission of all required state reports. This includes acting as the primary district contact for state information systems and managing state-specific educational initiatives.Regional and School-Based Compliance Systems: Manage regional and school-based compliance systems, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to support compliance and operational efficiency.School Health Management: Develop, implement, and oversee school health policies and programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to students. This includes managing compliance with state and federal health regulations and overseeing the work of school nurses.School Safety Oversight: Manage initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff. This includes developing and implementing regional safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services, when necessary.Child Nutrition Program Management: Oversee the child nutrition programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state nutrition standards. This includes managing food service operations, monitoring nutritional quality, and overseeing the administration of meal programs such as the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).QualificationsWho You AreOur ideal Regional Operations Manager will have an unwavering belief that our students can achieve at an exceptionally high level.
