Description
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to train key personnel across departments to ensure proper implementation and support for SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Monday.com, and other O365 tool adoption to streamline and centralize organizational communication. This position collaborates closely with the Intranet Design Lead on projects, consults with departments across the ministry on best practices, and owns documentation and communication with Power Users throughout the ministry.
Essential Duties:
- Power User Development - Assist the Intranet Support Coordinator in training power users throughout the organization to ensure best practices are implemented for SharePoint (Document Libraries, Lists, Sharing & Permissions), Microsoft Teams, Monday.com, Microsoft Power Platform, and other Enterprise Chain Systems.
- Conduct Discovery - Lead discovery meetings across departments to understand needs and make recommendations to the Intranet Support Coordinator on tools and resources to meet those needs.
- Document external best practices and training material within an organizationally accessible knowledge base.
- Document internal innovation and best practices.
- Monitor staff questions and requests related to the systems mentioned above and provide written or in-person training as necessary.
- Quality Control - Conduct regular reviews of ministry SharePoint sites to ensure they adhere to best practices.
- Training Resources - Create written and video documentation and training resources as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn technical skills quickly.
- Ability to lead a meeting and explain complex processes simply.
- Above average proficiency in operating a Windows-based computer utilizing the Office 365 Suite of tools (including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign Statement of Faith.
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of training experience preferred.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
