Job Description Description: The Director of OD is a leadership role that offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. As Director of OD, you will be responsible for delivery. Specifically organizational effectiveness, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering high-performance culture solutions for our clients with a lens toward A-G's internal OD needs. This role involves serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in OD for external clients and as a key member in proposal response initiatives. The Director of OD is critical in developing and implementing our OD Business Development strategies and delivering our current OD projects. A-G is expanding our internal initiatives that align with the organization's business growth goals and tactical objectives, providing a stimulating environment for your career advancement.

The Director of OD is not just a role but a collaborative journey. You will work closely with the VP of OD to first and foremost deliver our current projects and then build our internal capabilities, enhancing A-G's market competitiveness as we ramp up our targeted OD Business Development efforts. The Director of OD will work with other senior leaders to identify and address organizational development opportunities on current and future projects and identify needs, gaps, and opportunities for A-G's internal growth. This collaborative approach ensures that your voice is heard, and your ideas are valued.

Responsibilities: External Subject Matter Expert (SME) of OD Delivery for Clients

: Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to external clients, providing expert guidance and support in organizational development. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' organizational needs and develop tailored strategies and solutions to address those needs. Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and interventions to enhance organizational performance and effectiveness. Provide guidance and support to clients in change management initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. Act as a thought leader in organizational development, staying current with industry trends and best practices. Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational development strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Partner with client leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organizational development needs, gaps, and opportunities. Lead client cultural transformation initiatives and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide leadership coaching and development to senior leaders and managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive employee engagement. Conduct organizational assessments and diagnose organizational issues to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions. Develop and execute change management strategies to support organizational change initiatives, including communication plans, training programs, and employee engagement activities. Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure that organizational development initiatives are integrated with other HR programs and processes. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in organizational development and bring innovative ideas and solutions to drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to organizational development.

Internal Process Building: Support the proposal process from inception to award as needed, emphasizing Organization Development, but not limited to. Develop and implement comprehensive organizational development strategies and initiatives to enhance A-G's internal processes and systems. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by designing and implementing training programs and initiatives. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes and initiatives, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Leadership and Collaboration

: Work with the VP of OD to develop A-G's consultants by providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and department heads, to align organizational development initiatives with business goals and objectives. Build strong relationships with external clients, establishing trust and credibility as a strategic partner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate organizational development initiatives with other business functions. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in organizational development or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of organizational development principles, theories, and practices. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions. In-depth knowledge of change management principles and methodologies. Experience in designing and delivering training programs and workshops. Proficient in using organizational development tools and technologies. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
