Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Culinary team as Prep/Pastry Cook at The Seabird Resort located in Oceanside, CA.

Piper restaurant, located at The Seabird Resort in sunny Oceanside, CA. Guest enjoy fresh, handmade pastas and garden-to-table delicacies in a bright, convivial, California-coastal setting just off the beach. Restaurant is open in the morning for breakfast and freshly pressed juice. By night, Piper transforms into a warmly intimate space with an open kitchen, craft pasta station, full bar and wraparound outdoor patio.

Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry standards; assists higher level bakers; other duties as assigned by Chef.

This is an hourly position starting at $20.50. (compensation is based on experience)

    • 2+ years of experience as pastry cook in a casual or fine dining restaurant
    • Able to work single station in the kitchen.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Must have great communication skills
    • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and practices an occupational health and safety standards
    • Must be available AM and PM shifts.
    • Must have Food Handlers certifications.
