AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTING CLERK

Job Description Join our growing team Were looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support the business office of our busy automotive dealership. If you enjoy working with numbers, have strong organizational skills, and want to grow your career in the automotive industry, wed love to hear from you. What Youll Do Post and reconcile daily accounting transactions (sales, service, parts, warranty, etc.) Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices and payments as needed Reconcile and balance schedules, including bank statements, floorplan, and general ledger accounts as needed Prepare and post journal entries as needed Ensure accuracy of financial data entered into the accounting system (e.g., CDK) Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes Support the office team with administrative duties as needed Comply with company policies and accounting best practices Requirements What Were Looking For : High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors in Accounting preferred) 2+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience (automotive dealership experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of basic accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred (e.g., CDK) Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment Office setting within a dealership environment Fast-paced, deadline-driven Regular interaction with sales, service, and management teams What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Career growth opportunities within the dealership Supportive and professional work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
