Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to contribute to a platform for modeling structured products, facilitating financial tasks, valuation, pricing, calculation, and cash-flow projections. Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a cutting-edge application. You'll work with technologies such as ReactJS, Java, RESTful Web Services, Python, Anaconda, Azure DevOps, and PostgreSQL, ensuring the seamless operation of a financial platform. Responsibilities

Application Support Provide 2nd level support Serve as a single point of contact for users and other IT teams Problem resolution, prioritization, and root cause analysis Code investigation and documentation Bug Fixing Analyze complex problems and propose solutions Estimate and implement fixes Test and document solutions Evolutive Maintenance Conduct business analysis as needed Design, implement, and test solutions Periodic clean-up and documentation Release Management Manage branch operations (patching and merging) Configure and use build environments Coordinate with other IT teams Document release processes Testing Conduct non-regression and pre-release testing Document test results Challenge existing processes for efficiency gains Document processes and provide training Required Skills

Software analysis, design, and testing Database programming using SQL Financial Sector applications Excellent command of English Ability to deliver within tight deadlines Strong Python experience (software development context, not just scripting) Python Flask proficiency PostgreSQL and SQL expertise (complex SQLs and optimization) RESTful Web Services Qualifications
