Compensation:

$25.46 - $31.86 Hourly

What You Will Do

Recruitment Enablement (70%)

Internship Recruitment and Placement

  • Screen and assist with candidate placements for internship programs include clinical placements, manage background check and onboarding process.

  • Work with hiring managers and talent acquisition specialists through the recruiting process to verify student internship openings, posting language, schedule interviews, and review candidate selection.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Review active job postings for accuracy and formatting, revise as required. Communicate and reenforce best practices to recruitment team.

  • Follow up with outstanding required onboarding documentation including Skill Survey references and compliance attestations, upload to databases to maintain compliant auditable files.

  • Assist with audit requests for recruitment documentation.

Standardization

  • Assist in maintaining resource guides for Talent Acquisition team including standard operating procedures, job aids, and process documents.

Onboarding

  • Support the Recruitment Assistant team and act as a Recruitment Assistant when operational need arises, onboarding subject matter expert to ensure continuity.

Recruitment Outreach & Marketing (15%)

  • Support the manager in monitoring utilization and ROI of various recruitment platforms and usage analytics (Indeed, LinkedIn) as well as pilot recruitment engagements.

  • Use pre-approved templates to design, distribute, and print and promotional marketing materials for recruitment campaigns.

  • Customize existing graphic templates for targeted efforts including hard to fill roles, referral incentive programs, and demographic and region-specific recruitment.

  • Support ongoing updates of the VNS Health Careers website by providing edits, revisions, and recommendations to relevant candidate and employee experience content.

  • In coordination with VNS Health Marketing, update Employer Profiles on different media sites (Indeed/Glassdoor) with engaging recruitment video, posts, copy language.

  • Research community organizations to promote VNS Health job openings, engage in workforce development opportunities, and strengthen the community presence as an Employer of Choice.

New Employee Orientation (15%)

  • Provide a welcoming and engaging experience and be a consummate resource to new employees by providing essential onboarding information both general and specific.

  • Produce biweekly 8-hour Virtual New Employee Orientation by managing event logistics including Zoom rooms, presenting various slide decks, launching and administering participant polls.

  • Partner and coordinate with 15 internal facilitators of orientation including circulating and maintaining production notes, orientation rosters, and calendar invitations.


Qualifications

Education:
Associate's Degree or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum two years of broad-based experience in a Human Resource support or processing position OR internship experience in Human Resources with a Bachelor’s degree required
Basic understanding of the policies and procedures of at least two of the following disciplines preferred: benefits, recruitment, HRIS OD/Training and compensation required
Strong data entry and personal computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.) and the ability to multitask between various HR systems required
Demonstrated strong attention to detail and time management skills required
Effective oral, written and presentation skills required
Exceptional communication and organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-pace environment required
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
