Job Description Vaco Boston seeks a motivated Senior Auditor to join a growing advisory services department at a prominent regional public accounting firm. Job Duties:

Build and foster client relationships using an excellent consultive customer service approach

Operate client engagements from beginning to end

Perform planning, executing, directing, and completing audits and other attestation engagements for clients

Managing client projects within budgets

Work closely with clients and staff to develop client and project risk assessments

Work with audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during audit process

Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, workpapers, and audit programs

Assist partners and senior management on proposals and business development calls

Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff associates and interns on audit and review process

Qualifications & Experience:

Strong understanding of GAAP

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Minimum of 2 years' experience in public accounting delivering audit services

CPA certification preferred, but not required

Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements

Ability to work in teams and adapt to team dynamics

Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic
