SUMMARY

  • Craft Innovative Design Solutions
  • Producing cost-effective detailed ship production designs
  • Determining technical project requirements
  • Resolving production-related issues with manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft precision : Innovate with 2D Design
  • Create 3D models of systems and components
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural integrity (Engineering positions only)
  • Navigate Technical Challenges with Expertise
  • Architect Success: Plan, estimate, schedule, and elevate Projects with Precision
  • Drive Excellence: Track and Illuminate Project Progress
  • Inspire and Drive Assigned Resources to Excellence
  • Facilitate communications within the department
  • Prepare and Deliver Professional-Quality Solutions
  • Interpret contract requirements
  • Craft Strategic Contract Amendments
  • May lead or collaborate on Product Enhancement Projects

SKILLS

  • Verifiable technological skills
  • Proficiency in relevant computer skills (AutoCAD or similar software) Shipconstructor and
  • Navisworks proficiency a plus

REQUIREMENTS

Engineer Technician (Designer) Roles:

  • AutoCAD certificate, 2-year degree in the field or 2-10 years equivalent experience

Engineering Roles:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field or 8 years equivalent experience
  • 2 years of increasing responsibility in the engineering field of competence
