The MRI Technologist performs quality images per physician's orders while providing excellent care to patients.This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) position working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). This role will be based out of our Waconia MRI Department that is set to open in October 2024.A $3,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for sign-on bonus.Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. We have a comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Plan, Maternity Bundle, 401K with Profit Sharing, Tuition Reimbursement, Gym & Car Rental Discounts and more.Essential Functions:Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injuryInform and prepare patients for proceduresMaintain patient files, including internal and external filmsPrepare, clean, and stock work area with suppliesCoordinate equipment maintenance and repairMaintain the necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequenciesCommunicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients to ensure patient is able to tolerate MRI exam comfortablyAny and all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:Graduate of an ARRT approved programARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department requiredEssential Requirements:Ability to:Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.Complete job required training.Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendanceWork in the clinic during business hours Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be requiredWork at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlinesCommunicate and interact in a respectful and professional mannerPrioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operationsApply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsUnderstand and execute a variety of instructionsEffectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone systemWork independently with minimal supervisionTravel to other work locations, if requiredPerformance Expectations - i-Health's Core Values:Integrity - Do the right thing and take responsibility for what you do and sayService - Consistently contribute to deliver an exceptional experienceQuality - Act with high purpose, committed effort, and skillful execution to exceed expectationsInnovation - Identify progressive solutions that improve service, teamwork, efficiency, and/or effectivenessTeamwork - Be a part of the whole; support each other positivelyEnvironmental Conditions:Clinic settingNotesInfinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008.This position description will be reviewed periodically as duties and responsibilities change.
