Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist to support our clients medical facility based in San Antonio, TX. This is a 3-month assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization
Responsibilities:
- Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
- Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
- Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
- Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Education/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience required.
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 -4:15 with an hour lunch and rotating Saturdays 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Pay Range: $17 to $21/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
