Key job responsibilities Develop an in-depth understanding of Amazon’s products, business models, financial systems architecture and financial operations within a regulatory environment Manage critical relationships with internal and external business and technology partners Ensure transparency, alignment and clear communication of strategic programs and their resource impacts across the portfolio to key business and technology stakeholders Create regular communication mechanisms on portfolio progress and challenges, and lead prioritization discussions on required adjustments Lead goal alignment with portfolio stakeholders and PMO leaders Deliver standardized, scalable, automated, solutions to ensure the PMO is delivering the right projects, at the right time, with the right resources Prioritize the portfolio’s project requests and drive end-to-end process improvements that enable growth and deliver cost improvements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of program or project management experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of driving process improvements experience Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
