This position serves as an expert in pharmaceutical science and as the Service Chief for Clinical Pharmacy & Investigational Drug Research Section (CPIDRS) in the Pharmacy Department with responsibility for the leadership, management, and staff supervision of the Clinical Pharmacy & Investigational Drug Research Section that provides the clinical pharmacy services, investigational drug management and research services, and as an expert in pharmaceutical science. Duties The ideal candidate for this position will be an exceptionally talented, knowledgeable, and motivated pharmacy leader with extensive experience with health-system pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy practice, investigational drug management, and regulatory compliance as well as knowledge of USP , USP and USP standards, cGMP regulations, and ICH/GCP requirements. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree recognized by Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and a Pharmacist License are required. For this position, the highly desired candidate will also have post-graduate year 1 and year 2 residency training or clinical fellowship, board certification, and at least 10 to 15 years of clinical pharmacy practice experience. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Pharmacist working in the Clinical Pharmacy & Investigational Drug Research (CPIDRS) Section with the Pharmacy Department, your major duties will include but are not limited to: Requirements U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date. Employment is subject to the successful completion of a background investigation, verification of qualifications, completion of onboarding forms, submission of required documents, and any other job-related requirement before or after appointment. Applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. If selected, you must pass a pre-employment medical examination: May be required to provide proof of influenza vaccination. A one-year supervisory probationary period may be required upon selection.
